Being located on the southern tip of Panama’s Azuero Peninsula gives us access to endless, life-altering adventures and activities. The Pacific Ocean is teaming with wildlife that provides some of the world’s best deep-sea fishing and spectacular whale watching. Sea turtles hatch on our beaches and the consistent, warm waves make this coast a surfers dream. Isla Iguana is a short boat trip away. This uninhabited wildlife refuge is surrounded by white sand beach and the largest coral reef in the Gulf of Panama.

The tropical forests are one of the world’s most biodiverse places on earth. There are more endemic species in Panama than even Costa Rica. The forest next to Mangofish is so unique that the Smithsonian has been studying for the past several years. This is a bird-watchers paradise. The howler monkeys are all around. Anyone who loves to explore a biodiverse, unique, inspiring natural setting will leave this area with lasting memories.

The towns nearby are full of culture and fun. The cuisine is varied, fresh and world class. Pedasi, a fishing village, offers a quaint and calm vibe with many local culinary options. You can relax at a local bakery, quench your thirst at a friendly and laid back open air bar and even experience a Panamanian rodeo nearby.

Playa Venao is a beautiful beach and surf destination that has everything you would expect plus more. This location hosted the 2011 ISA World Surfing Games. That being said, this stunning cove maintains its raw beauty and the beach is seldom crowded.
